The Urban Craft Center - Santa Monica

A couple months ago, we were lucky enough to attend an April Winchell book signing.  You know, the gal that created Regretsy?  So not only was that awesome, but so was the place of the signing!

The Urban Craft Center is a place for social gathering for the crafter.  They have free club nights once a week, as well as an open studio night once a month.  Check out their calendar of events here.

and...they're handicap accessible!  if you can, check 'em out in person.  if you're not in the area, visit their site for supplies.  either way, you'll be glad you did.
